Privacy policy

This policy explains how SIA Žogu fabrika processes personal data when you use the websites zogufabrika.lv and zoguveikals.lv or send us a request or an order. We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Latvian Personal Data Processing Law.

What data we process and why

Contact form (zogufabrika.lv). Name, phone number, e-mail, the topic chosen and the text of your message. Purpose — to answer your question and prepare a quotation. Legal basis — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Order request and custom gate configurator (zoguveikals.lv). Name, phone number, e-mail, company name (if given), delivery address, comment and the goods selected. Purpose — to process the order, agree delivery and issue an invoice. Legal basis — entering into and performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

Accounting. If an order is fulfilled, we keep invoice and payment data because the law requires it (Article 6(1)(c)).

Website statistics (Google Analytics 4). Anonymised data about visits: which pages were viewed, device type, approximate location (country, city). Purpose — to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Legal basis — your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you give in the cookie banner. No statistics are collected without consent.

Technical logs. The server briefly stores the IP address and the time of a request to protect the website against attacks and spam. Legal basis — our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep data

• Contact form requests, and order requests that did not become an order — 365 days after receipt, after which they are deleted.
• Fulfilled orders and invoices — for 5 years, as required by the Latvian Accounting Law.
• Statistics data in Google Analytics — 14 months.
• Technical logs — 14 days.

Who receives the data

We do not sell data or pass it on for advertising. Data may be received only by:

• our employees who handle requests and orders;
• the website server provider Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany; the server is located in Finland);
• the e-mail service provider Hostnet (Latvia);
• Google Ireland Limited — only if you have consented to statistics, or if you open the map;
• our delivery and installation partners — name, delivery address and phone number, if we arrange the delivery or installation;
• public authorities, where required by law.

Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area (USA). In that case the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses apply.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data and receive a copy of it;
• ask for inaccurate data to be corrected;
• ask for data to be deleted when it is no longer needed;
• restrict or object to processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent to statistics at any time — by clicking “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.

To exercise your rights, write to office@zogufabrika.lv. We will reply within one month.

If you believe we are processing your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija): Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, pasts@dvi.gov.lv, www.dvi.gov.lv.

Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions or create profiles.
